Events & Alarms Documentation
The FunMouse Events & Alarms utility makes it easy to set up general reminders, birthdays and anniversaries.
The Events & Alarms utility is means to easily keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and general reminders. It is not used to launch programs at specified times as it is not meant to replace the built in task scheduler that ships with windows.
Creating & Editing Events
Editing existing events are as easy as selecting the event in the main window. When an event is selected all fields in the edit region are populated. From here properties such as reminder time, date, the type of event and recurrence can be adjusted or the event can be deleted altogether.
Close the main window
Makes a backup of all FunMouse settings including the latest events.
It is highly recommended to make a backup of all FunMouse settings once you are done creating new events.
To create a new event click this button / icon to start
Select this icon to indicate the event you are creating / editing is a birthday.
Select this icon to indicate the event you are creating / editing is an anniversary.
When creating new events the "Repeat Yearly" box is automatically checked when creating a birthday or anniversary reminder.
Select this icon to indicate the event you are creating / editing is a general reminder.
Click to delete / remove the currently selected event.
When you are done creating / editing an event click this button / icon to save the event.
If you do not want a re-occurring event to show on the
Quick-Launch Toolbar, yet still show the reminder at the allocated time, simply add an asterisk (*) to the short description field in addition to any other text you entered into the short description field.
